Residents of remote settlements in the Khabarovsk Region are often unable to visit specialists regularly: the nearest hospital may be hundreds of kilometres away. It is precisely for such areas that the floating clinic project was created — the ship 'Zdorovye', which travels along the region's rivers, bringing medical care directly to people's doorsteps.
During the latest voyage, the team of physicians on board received more than 890 patients. Specialists from various fields conducted examinations, carried out necessary diagnostic tests and provided health recommendations to every person who sought help.
What This Format of Medical Care Offers
Floating medical expeditions are an effective tool for regions with dispersed populations and complex transport infrastructure. This format makes it possible to address several challenges at once:

The project is being implemented as part of national initiatives aimed at improving access to medical care in Russia.
